RESERVATION:

All reservations are based on a specific vehicle category in case of not availability for a confirmed reservation Remezzo Rental reserves the right to offer a vehicle of similar or bigger category to the customer with no extra charge.

DRIVER:

• Minimum age is 23 years for ATV, 25 years for Buggy.
• Minimum age for cars (except Premium, Luxury & Special) is 23 years.
• Minimum age for Premium, Luxury & Special cars is 25 years.

DRIVER’S LICENSE:

The Driver is required to have and display a valid Driver’s License issued at least a year ago. Citizens of Non-EU countries are required to have a valid international Driver’s License along with their regular Driver’s License.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE RENTAL:

All authorized drivers must satisfy our age requirements, have a valid driver’s license, provide a physical street resident address, a major valid credit card and a driver’s Identity card or Passport.

AUTHORIZED DRIVERS:

The vehicle may be driven only by an authorized driver. An authorized driver is the renter and any additional person who appears at the time of rental and signs the rental agreement. No other persons are authorized to drive the vehicle.

All additional authorized drivers are required to qualify to drive the vehicle. To qualify, Remezzo Rental requires all additional drivers, including spouses, to satisfy our minimum age requirements, have a valid driver’s license, and pay an additional driver fee. A charge of 8€ per day has to be paid for each additional Driver.

MINIMUM RENTAL RATE:

Daily Rental rates are based on a 24 hour “rental day” starting at the time of rental. The minimum charge is one day. The renter will be charged for each hour in excess of a rental day.

In case the car has to be returned later than initially booked and indicated, the renter should inform in advance Remezzo Rental.  The insurances are valid and cover you only for the period booked and indicated on the Rental Agreement. Please call or send us an email in order to proceed to the amendment of your Rental Agreement. An extra fee up to one extra day may apply. Late returns beyond 60 minutes grace period may be subject to extra day charges, in addition to any other rental charges.

DELIVERY AND RECEIPT:

Renter received vehicle, which he examined and found it to his complete satisfaction, in perfect condition and appropriate for the purpose he rents it. Renter must return vehicle and all documents, tools and accessories that accompany it to the Lessor in the same condition he received it at the location and the date designated in this agreement. Otherwise and upon expiration of the rental period, Renter will be obliged to pay to the Lessor the normal rental charge plus expenses for any loss or damage. The Lessor reserves the right to gain repossession and use of vehicle at any time without notice and without Renter’s consent, but at Renter’s expense, from wherever and by any means if at the discretion of the Lessor there is danger of damage or loss of vehicle as well as risk of not receiving the rental charge or any other due compensation. The Lessor has the right beside the above mentioned case to gain repossession and use of vehicle if it has been used in violation of this agreement or of designated rental period.

The company is open Monday-Sunday 09:00 am-21:00 pm.

If an out of office hours service is available, then rentals will attract a 40€ charge payable on collection. Out of hours requests are treated as on request and cannot be guaranteed.

Collections or returns after midnight (00:00-07:00) will attract a fee of 80€ if available.

A delivery and collection service may be available within normal opening hours. For safety reasons, we do not deliver or collect ATVs & buggies outside the office. We provide a transfer service to and from our offices for the necessary paperwork and some instructions on them. Please contact the company for details. The charge depends on the day’s rental and the distance .

PAYMENT METHOD:

Accepted for deposit: American Express, MasterCard, Visa (not debit).

Accepted for payment: Cash, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Cash Card, Maestro.

For payments with American Express an extra amount is possible to be charged according to the bank charges.

DEPOSIT FOR GUARANTEE:

Upon pick up of the vehicle, Remezzo Rental will preauthorize an amount from the Driver’s Credit Card as a deposit for guarantee which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided no other charge arise. Please note that the refund can take up to 14 days, depending on the issuing bank of the Credit Card. The amount of the deposit varies according to the car type.

If a customer fails to present a valid credit card or there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, the car rental agent may refuse the release of the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

EXTENSION OF RENTAL PERIOD:

If the Renter wishes to prolong the rental period of vehicle, he has to notify to the Lessor in whiting at least twenty four (24) hours before the end of the period to receive the respective written approval. If he fails to do so he will have both civil and penal liability for illegal use and possession of vehicle. In case of extension of rental Renter shall be bound by the terms and condition both of the initial agreement and the rental extension agreement, whether concerning the vehicle or any replacements therefor.

FINES AND INFRINGEMENTS:

All fines and administrative sanction which come from liability of the Driver are charge the renter.

INSURANCE:

Our vehicles are insured against third parties. Physical damages and damage to the driver’s liability are not covered.

The renter’s liability for damage to the rented vehicle, can be reduced by paying a corresponding agreed amount in accordance with the company’s current price list under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated. (CDW)

It is also possible to fully discharge the liability (FDW) by paying a corresponding agreed amount in accordance with the company’s current price list as well as theft protection in case the customer wishes.

No CDW and FDW applies for ATVs and Buggies and the client is fully responded for any damage to the vehicle. 

No insurance coverage is applicable:

• if it is found that the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• for damage to the bottom, wheels, tires, mirrors, antenna, crystals and interior
• for loss of personal items inside the vehicle
• for accidents caused by a driver not registered in the lease
• for loss or destruction of a vehicle key
• for loss or destruction of additional equipment
• during the transport of the vehicle by ship

ACCIDENTS:

In case of any accident or any other incident (fire, theft, etc.), Renter or the additional driver(s) are obliged to immediately do the following: A: not acknowledge liability or guilty and claims of third parties in any way, direct or indirect, B. Note the names and the addresses of eye witnesses and also the name and the address of the driver and the data of the vehicle, with which vehicle may have collided. C. Notify the police to investigate the liability of the third party and provide care to any injures. D. Contact with the Lessor immediately by phone or other means (fax etc.) E. Obtain all relevant information from any third party. F. Photograph the location of the accident and the vehicles participating in the accident, if possible. Renter must complete and sing an accident/theft report latest within twenty four (24) at the nearest Lessor’s branch and send any relevant documents or information to the Lessor. In case of theft or loss vehicle Renter must repost the incident in writing at the nearest police department within twenty four (24) hours.

INCIDENT ADMINISTRATION FEE (IAF): In case of an accident due to the renter’s liability, renter has the obligation to pay a non-refundable fee of 15€ to cover administration expenses.

GASOLINE PRE-PAYMENT POLICY:

The renter is obliged to the vehicle with the same level of fuel upon collection. In case of returning the vehicle with less fuel the renter will be charged with the fuel difference. No refunds are for vehicles returned with more fuel. Renters are recommended to return the car with the same fuel to avoid charges.

Refuel Service Charge: 10€.

BABY SEATS: Available on request with a total charge of 5€.

GPS: Available on request with a daily charge of 8€.

POLICY OF  NUMBER  OF  PASSENGERS:

ATV’S & Buggies are allowed to carry one or two passengers. In case of third person in traced the vehicle will be taken from the customer and we will impose a fine of 250€.

HELMET:

In case of helmet loss, the charge is 50€.

LOST OR DAMAGE OF THE KEY:

In case of loss or damage of vehicle key during the rental, the renter is liable for following charges:

• 300€ for Cars  
  
• 20€ for ATV
• 100€ for UTV

FERRY RESTRICTIONS:

Allowed only with prior written agreement with Remezzo Rental. Please note that any damage to the vehicle in transit will be not covered by any insurance.

ROAD ASSISTANCE:
Road assistance due to malfunction of vehicle during working hours is free. During none of working hours the charge is 40€.

TAXES:

All rates and charges are subjected to V.A.T.

PERSONAL DATA:

Renter consents to the computer storage of his personal data. It is strictly agreed that the Lessor is authorized to use such data, when Renter at time of rental makes incorrect statements or violates the terms of this agreement and to pass on such data to the Country Authorities in case these is suspicion of committing a crime or other offence.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

The amount due for no-show/cancellations will be calculated in line with the below:

• Cancellation made 30 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full advance payment refund
• Cancellation made 15-29 days in advance of arrival date = 50% of deposit refund
• Cancellation made 14 days or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of advance payment amount due

In order to obtain a refund of the amount you have paid for your voucher (where applicable) you must contact the company by e-mail (mykonos@remezzorental.com) requesting to be refunded.

It can take up to 14 days for your card company to process a refund. We are not responsible for how long it takes your card company to process a refund.

Cancellation of your reservation should be made in writing prior to the start of your rental or cancelled through the mail of Remezzo Rental (mykonos@remezzorental.com) or via what’s up (+30 6945400280)

Please note that telephone cancellations will not be accepted.

No refunds will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date.

OFF ROAD:

Driving off road and on the beach is prohibited. In case of off road driving the vehicle will be taken from the customer and we will impose a fine of 500€.

OTHER TERMS:

Remezzo Rental has information system for organization and for direct supervision of our vehicles.
